Green Beau Brownie

As promised here is my green beau brownie made from 1930-31. It is the 2A model. I opened this camera up and was surprised to find film in ti. I closed it up quick and I hope I didn't ruin it. I want to try and get it developed...I'm just not sure where to do that since no one deals with116 film anymore. I'd develop it myself but sadly I don't have a dark room. :( Hope you all enjoy! I'll post some others from my collection tomorrow:)

  1. Hey!

    Regarding your Kodak Beau Brownie...

I just wrote my first novel called, "Empire Of Light." My main character is gifted a green Kodak Beau Brownie 2A which he takes on his first trip to Europe. I'm attempting to buy or rent the camera so that I can shoot a book trailer. I was wondering if you'd be interested in either selling or renting your camera to me.

I'm paying for this out of my own pocket, so I don't have a lot of cash to burn, but please let me know. I currently work at 20th Century Fox and I'm a graduate of the American Film Institute, so I love cameras and I'd take great care of it, if you decide to rent it to me. I could send you a deposit and I'd pay for all the boxing up and shipping.

Here's a link to my book. Note the cover. ;-)
